Budget Highlights

• Crushing 25,000 yards of gravel

• Clay capping & widening the road south of Vaderstad

• Clay capping three more miles of road

• Installing a large truck scale as a service to ratepayers & local businesses 

• Transferring $75,000 to Fire Capital Reserve in anticipation of future needs for the Whitewood Fire Department 

• Mill rates adjusted due to assessment revaluation - on average agriculture land will see a small increase of 2-3%, Residential will see a small decrease, commercial will also see a small increase of around 2.5% and Pipeline and Rail will see a larger increase (due to assessment shifts) of around 10%
